Did you put it in subfolder maybe? Check the htdocs folder what’s inside of it.
There are WordPress folders under :
Xampp / apps
xampp \mysql\data
dxampp\apps\wordpress\htdocs\wpincludes\js ( some plugins )
xampp\htdocs\dashboard\docs
So those are there.. I know the app is there.. ( if that helps LOL)
I downloaded and installed Xampp, 7
then I downloaded and installed WordPress from Bitnami.
The Bitnami appliance installs the complete server environment for you. Installing XAMPP first probably has caused you some server conflicts/issues you can’t resolve without removing or disabling one or the other (most likely xampp).
Can you see WordPress files at C:\Bitnami\wordpress-4.5.3-0\apps\wordpress\htdocs\ ?
If yes. disable the XAMPP servers, then open the Bitnami Stack Manager and click the “Manage Servers” tab… Are there green lights for both apache and MySQL?
If yes, type localhost in your browser address bar and see if you can bring up the Bitnami “Access WordPress” page.
Yes.. last night I found the wordpress install page under the xampp directory and was able to open it an log into the admin page.. BUT now since you raised the question .. when I get home tonight I will look to see if it is also under C:\bitnami directory as well.
I am pretty sure I also installed the WooCommerce plugin.. and I saw it .. but could not find it in the plugins that were under the wordpress install in xampp.. so tonight leads a new adventure..
Also, thank you all for your kind assistance !
