Facebook Pixel Is Missing Product Information

    My Pixel helper is down to just one issue, on my Proceed to Checkout page.
    It says:

    Facebook Pixel Is Missing Product Information
    Event ID: General event
    content_type is missing, should be either ‘product’ or ‘product_group”

    Is it referring to a field in my product catalog?

    When you will test your site with Pixel Helper, you will see a false error triggered by the General Event. The text of this error will be something like “No products found for given content IDs” or “content_type is missing, should be either ‘product’ or ‘product_group”

    You can safely ignore this message. It means that the event is not Dynamic Ads ready (where content_type MUST be product or product_group and the ID must belong to a Product Catalog). This event is not meant to be used for Facebook Dynamic Ads, but to create Custom Audiences. We do have a special setup for WooCommerce and Dynamic ads that you can control from the WooCommerce tab.

    Aha! I will save this response for when I get to Dynamic Ads.
