    Were you able to access that file even when you weren’t logged into your site? The Htaccess permissions on the Backup directory should prevent anyone who isn’t logged in from being able to access the backups.

    For instance when I tried to follow the link I received a 404 error. But you might have already deactivated the plugin?

    Let me know – and email us directly at backupwordpress@hmn.md with additional details if you have them.

    You can also change the backup directory by adding a definition to your wp-config.php file we call a constant.

    The path to the folder you would like to store your backup files in, defaults to /home/public_html/bwp/wp-content/backupwordpress-backups. to change it you can add

    define( 'HMBKP_PATH', '/home/path/to/desired/backup/folder' );

    Thanks,
    Kat
