this can’t be the right url

the /wwwroot folder is the root of your site – where you want to put the folder containing wordpress files

Can anyone give me any tips or pointers to get this going?

    I appreciate any help.

    Thank you,

NEVER type your databasename, username and password onto an online forum … you’ve just given away the security to your blog, and possibly the server. You do realize that anyone can read this?

    rtwhite,
I am having the same issue as you. I am using Hsphere CP and have tried a whole host of tactics with no luck.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Well it appears that there is no support for this software. I was thinking of buying the service they provide but I don’t think anyone will contact me about that either. That’s sad to. This could be really nice software.

    Thanks anyway,

RT, I am not exactly sure which version it is. This cp is new to me. I always use cPanel with Fantastico which makes things a whole lot easier to install.

When I downloaded WordPress 2.8.2 zip package and tried to install it on a new site, all I got was a blank screen for step #2. Checking the code, I found that the included ‘wp-config-sample.php’ file is missing the php closing tag, ?>, from the bottom of the file. I added it manually to ‘wp-config.php’ and only then was able to complete the install.

I don’t know if this would fix your problem, but it fixed mine.
