Over-ride the bullet display on a widget

    I have a couple of widgets which show the » bullet when they’re added to the sidebar or footer (because the CSS assumes the items are part of a list)… see the social icons at the bottom of the home page here… http://www.dadams.co.uk

    It doesn’t look too bad on the social icons but it ruins the display when using an Instagram widget. Is there anyway of over-riding the display of the » character?
