I want to create a site where visitors can see fully functional demos of the different sites I can offer them and I want these demo sites to be on the same domain. Can someone please tell me if Themify used a Portfolio plugin like yours on this page https://themify.me/themes or did they use a Multisite?

What I am referring to specifically is that if you click any of the DEMO links on that page a fully functioning demo of that theme will open on the same page. (Actually, I would be just as happy if clicking the DEMO link opened the demo theme in a new tab too.)

    Thank you very much. 🙂

    Hello magentawave,

For some reason, WP didn’t notify me of your post so just now stumbling across it. Based on the naming convention of the images in the grid, it looks like the author/developer painstakingly uploaded each one of the images. It would make more sense to use an automated screenshot service, but they must prefer manually uploading images that they feel are more relevant than actual screenshots.

As far as the “DEMO” functionality, it does look like they are using Multisite or possibly individually installed mini-sites. It’s not something my service, or WP-Portfolio, really digs into, so I cannot be of much help with that. Sorry. 😉

Hopefully you’ve figured it all out by now anyway!

    Cheers,

    Brandon
