  • Agree.
This has turned into major and in your face bloatware.

    Hi,

Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate that you share your opinion with us.

    a massive icon
Please clear the cache (ctrl+F5 for most browsers).

now I have this BWS panel
We’d like to note that the panel has always existed. Yes, we updated it to make plugins management more convenient and that’s all. We want to create a tool which will help users to find the necessary plugins and manage them using one panel.

If you have any ideas or suggestions about its refinement, we’ll be glad to hear them.

    Sincerely,
    BestWebSoft Support Team

can we move it to the bottom or into the settings submenu? Its current placement at the top of the admin menu is VERY disruptive and has us considering removing the plugins used.

Unfortunately, I totally agree. It is a terrible idea to place it at the very top, and hide the recaptcha options within it. The plugin settings should be under the Settings menu.

I understand the need to advertise the rest of your plugins but don’t do it in the cost of lowering the quality of singular ones.

For the time being, I will deactivate the respective side-bar items and look into a way to add the recaptcha manually myself.

Consider going with a different route with this. Thanks!

    yeah its pretty bad overall:

    Hi guys,

Thanks so much for the additional feedback.

    @iamonlythird and @ppnsteve
We will definitely will consider your opinion about panel location in the menu and will try to make changes in future updates. Right now we would like to collect more information and feedback from our users to improve the experience and add useful options. The main goal of the panel is to provide single place where users can browse and manage available plugins/themes developed by us. We plan to add more options there in future and create advanced panel for user who want to boost their WordPress website quickly.

    @ppnsteve
Please clear your browser cache to fix the appearance (Ctrl+F5).

Feel free to provide any additional feedback here. You help is appreciated.

    Sincerely,
    BestWebSoft Support Team

Agreed that this is an issue and simply saying that “The main goal of the panel is to provide single place where users can browse and manage available plugins/themes developed by us” is an affront to our intelligence. The long sentence can simply be reduced to two words: Shameless advertising.

If every plugin developer took the same actions, it would take 5 minutes to scroll to any function of worth.

The “single place” you’re looking for is within the menu area prescribed for each plugin. Please scrap the billboard. Or at least provide a terminate permanently X box.

    Hi All,

Thanks again for your feedbacks, we’ll take them into account.
Can we ask your opinion about such products as All In One SEO Pack (https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/), Jetpack (https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack/), etc. which also have the similar panel at the top? Don’t they bother you? We’ll be grateful if you share your thoughts with us.

    Sincerely,
    BestWebSoft Support Team

Don’t use them usually, and assumed jetpack got on top because its a WP official plugin.

in most cases though their panels have mainly relevant settings and whatnot directly related to the plugin, not a “buy our stuff” / we make other plugins too you can manage here thing.

One assumes you are trying to promote your products and services but your actions and this thread are detrimental to that cause. There is no one reading this thinking “their service is outstanding, let me put my trust in their products!”

On the other hand, if you’re trying to sabotage your brand, you’re doing an excellent job.

Thanks for your non-committal responses. Your customers are taking them into account.

This concludes my experience with BWS apps.

I don’t mind the panel as long as it isn’t on the top. For me it appears close to the bottom.

Thanks for making free and great plugins. Now if only the monthly fee were cheaper for the pro versions! Can’t afford that price.

I also would very much like the BWS thingy in the same place as the other 3th party thing, on the bottom. It’s too emphatic…

    best regards,
    Jan
