Clean migration?

    Hello
    When using this plugin, is the migration as clean as a manual copy/paste of all the files + database? I’d like to avoid the plugin messing up with database, links, files access rights, etc.
    After migration, once the plugin is uninstalled, will everything be purely identical as before the migration? (= exact same files, exact same database entries –> no new files or entries generated by the plugin)

    Hi Greg0497,

    Thank you for reaching out.
    Let’s say you are exporting from Site 1 and importing on Site 2;
    Site 1’s wp-content folder = A B C D
    Site 2’s wp-content folder = D E F G
    After the import completes, Site 2’s wp-content folder will become A B C D E F G.
    A B C from Site 1 will be added to Site 2, while D and the database on Site 2 will be overwritten.
