• I’m trying to upload a pdf of 1.10mb via Media Library, Add New. Just uploaded two others – one 4.61mb and the other 835kb with absolutely no problems. With the third one I keep getting an error message which simply says ‘http error’, no other information. Can’t find the solution in the forums.
No point in linking to site as wouldn’t be apparent.

  • Can you upload anything else, e.g. a picture?

    Yes, no problems at all.

I was one of the people having the same issue a few days ago but mine was with jpg’s and I had no issues loading other things though. I posted about it but the issue seemed to have resolved itself within 48 hours. I have no idea was the problem was so I can’t give you have fix 🙁

I’ve still got the problem. However uploading via the browser seems to work, but not via WordPress uploader.

I can’t longer upload pdf’s. I get http error. I tried to upload to folder using cpanel. It works fine… almost. I can see uploaded pdf file in the server’s folder but not in WP media library. I can upload photos normally using drag/drop tool.

I tried also to use upload single file with WP file browser but it ends to http 404 error

I earlier I was able to upload pdf.
