First off – I can tell this is a super piece of kit.

But it’s a bit like turning the key in a Ferrari and not being able to drive.

I’ve checked out the two youtube tutorials, which got me going with how adding links and link categories work, and I’ve set up a couple of sample links.

I’ve been to the plugin page, and the plugin wiki, to look for the details on how to get the plugin set up to look like the examples on the plugin page.

    So ok, I give up.

How do you get the setup to look like the example on the plugin page rather than just a list of links?

There are multiple examples on the plugin page. Can you let me know exactly which example you are trying to reproduce? I can send you the exact configuration I am using for that library, along with the stylesheet I am using.

    Hi Yannick,

    Thanks for the reply!

The problem I’m having, is that there are no guidelines on what info to put into which field, on either the plugin or the links manager.

The links manager is the prime example here, as without the youtube video explaining the return of the manager, I wouldn’t have had a clue what was going off and binned it!

I usually start off with the most basic example, then build up from there if needed, so I suppose the various settings for the ‘library in table form’ would be a good starting point.

A quick way to configure the plugin to display in table form is by going to the Library Settings section, under the Usage tab where it shows how to use each shortcode, and click on the Reset Current library for table layout button. That will reset all settings to produce a table layout.

Thanks, that seems to work ok.

I can immediately see more settings that make sense now.

And I presume that ‘reset current library’ puts it back into list mode?

    **Edit**
Just tried it, and yes it does.

    Thanks, Yannick!

Yes, reset brings it back to an unordered list. Let me know if you have other questions to get the desired look and please consider donating to support this plugin’s development.
