  • Same here.
The maps on each post are showing fine, but the map on the home page with the shortcode [codepeople-post-map cat=-1] is not

    Any clues?

    Hi DuisterDenHaag,

If you select the “as icon” option, for the attribute: “Display map in post/page”, in the map’s settings on your page, the plugin displays an icon in the webpage, and expands the map if the icon is pressed. Please, select the “as full map” option for this attribute.

    Hi christoschiotis,

Are you using the pro version of the plugin?. The attribute: cat=”-1″ is not available in the free version of the plugin. Could you send me the link to your webpage to check it, please?

Thank you very much for using the plugin.

    Ok thanks for the clarification.
I have been using the free plugin with cat=”-1″ , which worked, until today.

    Thank you for your answer

    Hi christoschiotis,

The attribute: cat=”-1″ has never been part of the free version of the plugin, but if you insert the shortcode of the map in a page with multiple entries, as the homepage, or the template files used for the search results, or archive pages, the plugin displays on the map all points belonging to the posts or pages included in the page with mutiple entries (either in sidebars, the content, widgets in the footer, etc). This behavior could give you the feeling that the attribute was taken into account.

    Best regards.

Yeah I believe that this happened. It was on home page with a post loop and it showed these results. When I changed the home page content and removed that loop, the map disappeared.
