Hi msteidl,
by default Shariff should not be included in RSS feeds (no point in having them there in general). I will investigate the circumstances and fix it as needed.
JP
Version 4.1 should take care of this issue.
If you still encounter any problems regarding this, please feel free to post again!
Cheers,
JP
Seems it worked.
Thanks a lot for your quick support!
I still have this issue on the latest version. How do I dix it?
Hello freelancesam,
can you provide a link to your page, so we can see it ourselves? Otherwise it is hard to determine with so few informations.
Cheers,
JP
Hi freelancesam,
thank you for the link. Did you deactivate the Shariff buttons? Because I don’t see any of them on your site.
JP
Ok, I was able to determine the underlying issue. I will prepare a patch and let you now as soon as it is available.
Thanks for reporting!
JP
@freelancesam Version 4.2.1 should take care of your issue.
Hi JP, I’ve updated but it’s still there in mailchimp.
View post on imgur.com
pulling from the feed at http://sirqone.com/en/feed.
I’ve also added the buttons back in to the post page.
Thanks
Hi freelancesam,
there is no sign of Shariff in your feed at http://sirqone.com/en/feed anymore. I also added your feed to my mailchimp test account with the basic rss template and there also does not appear anything related to Shariff.
Maybe mailshimp is still showing you some fetched data from prior to the update?
Cheers,
JP
Yes, it’s gone now, must have been a cached feed or something.
Thank you very much for the fix, great plugin!
