2.9.2 Upgarde No Homepage and 500 Internal server erro

    I upgraded to 2.9.2
    All went well. I can login-to admin dashboard and individual posts can be seen if full URL is typed in, so all content is safe. ALl plug-ins are working

    HOWEVER I cannot view my homepage and get a 500 Internal server error.
    I have checked file permissions (all 775), re-saved existing permalinks to update .htacces. But can’t get homepage to display

    Any clues, anyone

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?
