2.9.2 auto upgrade not showing when buddypress installed

I have three sites with indivudal installations of WordPress MU 2.9.1. In the dashboard, two of my sites show the link at the top for upgrading from 2.9.1 to 2.9.2. The third site, which also has the latest buddypress plugin installed, does not show the link for upgrading. Any ideas why this is happening?
