Inserting shortcodes Into Single Staff Page

As our site currently runs, with a home-grown plugin, we have a listing of all author postings underneath the author’s image and Bio. the layout is essentially the same as the STaff plugin here.
I am trying to transition that over to Staff plugin and it works fine as far as adding the author picture, bip and contact information.
However, I am trying to use another plugin to insert all of the author’s postings underneath that information. In this case, the “List all posts by Author, nested Categories and Titles” plugin. However, every time I add the shortcode underneath the author’s bio, everything past the author’s image whitescreens.
I also tried the the same thing with the home-grown post generator that we currently use and it does the same thing.
It appears that you cannot add shortcodes to the author’s page. Which is quite limiting when it comes to expanding the layout of this plugin.
BTW< I am using a theme I created myself that is very lightweight, with very few function calls.
Any advice is welcome.
