• With the recent changes Google has made in regards to no longer following “no-follow” tags, what are the other workarounds to preventing duplicate content?

I’ve started by removing the archives widget and also began using the <!–more–> tag for every post so the homepage of the blog only shows an excerpt.

I still have categories being used and all that does is add /category/ to the URL when navigating to a page through the categories widget. I saw something about using a canonical tag but not sure this covers it.

I’ve searched on Google and these forums but all of the information is outdated and recommends using the “no-follow” tag.
