Assign post a category plus a type

    I’m developing a blog which will contain information about a particular region. Within that region are a number of towns and each post will be specific to one of those towns.

    As well as all the standard categories (History, Culture, Music etc.) I’d like to be able to select a town. This way any given post would be submitted to (for example) History/Town1.

    When searching through categories, users would then potentially have two select menus to define the search: CATEGORY and LOCATION.

    Is this possible in any way?
