Hostgator Problems 2.8.1

    Is anyone having a problem with hostgator “locking up” your information in the wp-admin area? I’m using 2.8.1. I also tried to install an new wordpress blog fresh and it wouldn’t let me expand any of the menus or get into my widgets. Is anyone else having the same problem? I talked to Hosgater and they said there were no issues on their end.

    HELP!!!

    I have a client with several sites hosted there – no problems
    is javascript enabled in your browser?

    Did you ever get this corrected. I am having this problem now with 2.9. on Hostgator.

    @currye, there is no point bumping a 5 months old post, its very unlikely that the thread starter will check it now,

    anyways, am sure hostgator should solve the problem. anyways, just make sure to disable all the plugins and see if its any better 🙂

    I am sorry for open this, I keep getting a reply from Hostgator that everything is working ok on there end, and I was wander if he ever got it corrected.

    When you say “locking” up, does that mean you can’t login anymore? Are your cookies enabled?

    I cannot open my widgets to add or change the contents, all the menus are lockup, if click on admin options, it won’t expand, the help won’t open, the widgets won’t open. and at the bottom of the page it has. Done, but with errors on page. I tried IE and FF and they won’t open in either brower.
