What do you see when you go to the following AIOWPS page in your WordPress admin panel:
WP Security >> Dashboard >> Locked IP Addresses

Are there any entries there? If so are there any IP addresses which are blocked that are in the same range as your current IP address?
(If so try unblocking those IP addresses)

Does this error message appear after you clear all cookies in the browser?

Do you have a caching plugin – have you tried clearing all caches?

Are you on a hosting plan which does server caching?

Thanks for the reply. It stopped doing it after a few days. Probably right, was a caching issue, I guess.

If there where any Locked IPs, there aren’t now. Don’t know why there would be, though, I have it set to unlock IPs in 20 minutes, so there wouldn’t be one there for so long.

My login is blocked (by BruteProtect).

It has given the following instructions:… “IP has been flagged for potential security violations. Please try again in a little while…”

How long is “a little while….”?
