Fatal error while making child theme

    Hi, I was making a child theme for our site and it died midway through, i cannot get on the site or into the admin panel to try and sort this.

    The site comes up with a fatal error on every page and if i go onto wordpress.com it fails to get any information on it too.

    Can anyone tell me the best way to sort this please?

    you dont need to copy parent themes functions.php file into child theme instead you create new functions.php file for child theme , All the functions written in child file will be in addition to parent file.
