I don’t see this happening in any browser. It just tried it and the gallery works fine on the first load in Mac Os, iOS, and Android Chrome; Mac OS and iOS Safari, and Mac OS Firefox. Is it possible you have some sort of caching issue? Can you duplicate the problem on a browser that hasn’t visited the page while you were developing it and isn’t logged in to WordPress?
Also, your watermark image is set to http://www.garytheobald.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/seal-watermark-242×300.png which is showing a 404 Not Found error, but I don’t think that would explain why your gallery isn’t working.

Thanks for the heads-up on the watermark thingy… Will fix that up! 🙂
I opened a “private” window (which I think would mimic visiting a page for the first time) and it worked… Contrary to that I did the same thing in Chrome (incognito) and the problem happened… I opened up the developer tab and noticed an error occur every time I clicked on the video…
(index):1 Uncaught ReferenceError: kgvid_SetVideo is not definedonclick @ (index):1
Does this help?
I’m really not sure how to recreate it… It seems random… Quit browser, open window, go to page, click to another page, and click back… The only thing I know for sure that IS consistent is that when it happens, a refresh ALWAYS fixes it.
My client said the same thing happens to her so I know it’s not just me – I’m sure it will happen for you too at some point — though I’m not wishing it lol!!! I just want it to work all the time :)!
Thanks you so much for your quick reply! You the best!! 🙂

Here’s the error in Safari:
Can’t find variable: kgvid_SetVideo
And a screenshot of it…

My guess is there’s some sort of fancy AJAX page transition involved. I still can’t duplicate the issue, but I see you have a few AJAX functions bringing up different content and that would cause the problem. If the initial page loaded doesn’t have a video, the necessary JavaScripts don’t load with it. But I can’t figure out a way to load the gallery page via AJAX. It always loads the normal way.

You sir are brilliant!!!! I disabled the “fancy-shmancy” page transitions and videos load flawlessly every time! Thanks for saving the day!!! 🙂
Great, glad it worked out!
