For some unknown reason, WP is all of a sudden wrapping the Logo graphic src url in the alt tags for the same image and so at the top of the page it is only showing text of this instead of the actual logo :-

    <img class=”img-responsive” id=”logo-image” alt=”src=http://mindbodyspiritcentre.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Website-Logo1.jpg”>

Why would it be doing this and how can I fix it?

    I am new to WP.

    Thanks

Hi, thanks for the reply Keith.

    We are already using 4.3.4

The weird thing is it has come good overnight???

The only thing I can think of that was happening is that the server at the hosts was some how playing up and stitching together the page incorrectly before delivering it??? I’m no server expert though!

As anybody ever heard of this?

    Hi torquay,

keithbernardce suggest you to update Theme to latest version, which is 3.6.2

There is no version 4.3.4 for Evolve Theme.

    Thank you.

Woops, my bad, WP is 4.3.4 not the theme, . . . that’s how much of a newbie I am!

The site has come good again today, do you not think it might be a server thing rather than the theme? Can the theme be good for about 7 months and then play up like this, and then come good again after about 12 hours?

    Cheers

    Hi,

It could be a cache issue. When cache expires it will load fresh content from web server, which could explain why your issue is fixed after 12 hours.

If you have a cache plugin such as WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache.
You should clear it’s cache content after any theme, or plugin or WordPress update.

You will also need to clear your browser history.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the input Denzel, we don’t have a cache plugin installed, did try to clear browser cache at the time, . . . totally at a loss as to why it happened then all of a sudden the problem went away.

Thanks for every bodies help though.

    Cheers

I am having the same problem at the site http://dev.otlpoa.com/ and have cleared my cache and browsing history and updated to 3.6.2. Any thoughts on a fix?

    Thanks! Works perfect.
