What error are you getting?
Have you tried renaming the plugins folder via FTP?

I have 3 administrator login ID and Passwords — I get an error saying that the ID names do not exist.
I can try to rename the plugins folder -but i do not understand how that will allow me to log in as an administrator to WP….

If the problem occurred following an upgrade to WP 2.8, it’s possible that an incompatible plugin is causing the issue. Renaming the plugins folder is a quick method of completely deactivating all plugins to test this possibility.
You could also try checking the wp_user table in the database using Phpmyadmin to check whether these 3 admins ids are present. If they are, it further suggests that this may be a plugin problem.
