I’m trying to figure out how to keep my pages I’m creating from appearing in the navigation tabs at the top of my theme (OnlineBusinessJunction.com). I will have way too many pages to appear there and I just want them to show up using my Pages widget in my left sidebar. I managed to do this once on a former blog, but I can’t remember how I did it, and I no longer have that WP blog so I can’t check. Any ideas on how I can do this?

This may be one of several answers:

I simply create a page and save it in the wp-content folder; so the URL is http://www.yourblogsite/wp-content/yourpage.htm.

The obvious drawback is that you cannot use the WP page templates.

Make whatever pages you don’t want to show up there “child pages”

what sweetangst said, or hard-code top navigation to what you want, meaning e.g.
```
<ul>
<li><a href="link/to/page/"> Home Page</a></li>
<li><a href="link/to/page/"> 2nd Page</a></li>
<li><a href="link/to/page/"> 3rd Page</a></li>
// etc etc etc
</ul>
```

I’m doing that now, sweetangst. Was just hoping for something better. Thanks though.
