We are need to check this out.
Thanks for your suggestion.
Ok thanks for the prompt reply.I realise these are early days.
Slightly off topic but it would also be useful if your own tabs/accordian
widgets supported use of the full text and image editor. Currently, it looks at the moment that you cant add code/markup if for example you wanted to include images?
For now we have some issues to use TinyMCE (wysiwyg) in repeater control, but when we fix this out, you will can do that.
Thanks 🙂
I’ve had a conflict with the Text Editor not working (cant add or edit text) while Pootle Pagebuilder plugin is still active/enabled, when Pootle Pagebuilder plugin is disabled Elementor Page Builder text editor works fine.
Why is this marked as resolved? I still have the same issues as reported in the opening post.
I also have the same problem. It would be great if SO widgets can work in elementor.
I am having a similar problem.
I have elementor installed on a wp site. when I try to add or edit the TEXT widget within a page, the left section of screen, where i have to make changes, shows gray, not showing all the elements that allows me to make changing. It worked before, but after doing automatic update, it sopped working. The Header, image, and Icon widgets are working find. Please help. I tried recreating another page, but still getting the same error.
Thanks
Hi everyone!
Greg from SiteOrigin here – we’ve added compatibility for Elementor to Widgets Bundle from our side. This feature is done, so it’ll be in our next Widgets Bundle update.

Hi Greg
I have the same problem as others above – SiteOrigin Widget Bundle doesn’t work in Elementor page builder. Github branch https://github.com/siteorigin/so-widgets-bundle/pull/388 has been merged but the problem still persists.
Tested on
– WordPress 4.7.2
– both PHP 5.6.12 and PHP 7.0.6
– Elementor 1.1.7
– SiteOrigin Widget Bundle 1.7.2
SiteOrigin team is my persons of the month award 🙂 the team released update SiteOrigin Widget Bundle 1.8 to make them compatible with Elementor after I reported the incompatibility problem 5 hours ago. SiteOrigin team is so awesome!!!
Now it works fine on
– WordPress 4.7.2
– PHP 5.6.12 and works great on PHP 7.0.6
– Elementor 1.1.7
– SiteOrigin Widget Bundle 1.8
I love you all SiteOrigin team!!!! Now I don’t hesitate to plan on building all of my custom widgets on SiteOrigin Widget bundle – the best widget framework I have ever seen so far – in my next WordPress theme project.
