• This may be a dumb question, but as I understand it, the ‘page’ created using the new page option in WP, is stored in a database, so does it get indexed by the search engines just like any other page?

Also is there a way to make meta keywords that would be specific to individual pages, within WP?

  • Q1. When you link to a Page somewhere publically on your site, they should be able to find it.

Q2. There’s a few plugins that handle this:

All posts are stored in the database, but rendered as XHTML pages thanks to the wonder of PHP. Don’t worry, everything on your site is indexed by search engines (unless you block them with robots.txt or nofollow).

    Try this plugin: http://www.vapourtrails.ca/wp-keywords
