• Trying to create a tiled gallery but falling short on this instruction –
“there will be a checkbox reading ‘Tiled Gallery’. Tick it to automatically turn the gallery into a tiled grid.” as the checkbox isn’t there.

Also, if I manage to create the gallery, can the images link to specific pages?

    thanks

  • Same problem. Cannot locate this checkbox so I cannot create a gallery.

I’m also looking for this. I downloaded the plugin just for a tiled gallery.

    Please advise.

Actually, it seems the checkbox was removed and “Gallery” options have been added to the the WP Tiles widget on the toolbar.

Basically, it seems to output a shortcode like this:

    [gallery tiles=yes id="News"]

So how do you choose what images to display? I’m on the verge of giving up with this plugin! Don’t get the instructions at all.

Just create a WordPress gallery normally, then switch to Text mode and add the “tiles” and “id” values to the shortcode:

    [gallery tiles=yes id="News"]

So, it will look something like this:

    [gallery tiles="yes" link="none" id="News" ids="1600,1603,1605,1602,1609,1606,1608,1607,1601,1604,1611,1610"]

Yeah, it’s certainly not the best documented plugin out here, but it certainly does things none others do.

Sorry to pester you again, mpmchugh, but can you link the images to pages? That is really what I’m trying to do! I want my gallery to act as visual navigation for my landing pages.
