Checkout page no longer redirects to PayPal with upgrade

Just upgraded to 1.17.5 and now the checkout page does NOT redirect to PayPal when using Microsoft Edge (it just goes right back to the checkout page).

I have also tested in Chrome, Firefox and IE11. Those browsers do redirect to PP. Microsoft Edge does not, when it did not have a problem prior to upgrade.
