why is rating_over image always loading so slow?

    for some reason, even when using .png images, your ‘rating_over’ image is always the slowest to load on any page. You can check with tools like Pingdom.
    I selected no to ‘Show Fading In And Fading Out Of Ratings’ but still that image is loading. I don’t want it. How can I stop your plugin loading it?
