    Good day

I’m experiencing s big problem on my site, the checkout page is looping once any action is taken on it, other than filling in the content for the billing address, if you try to link into the other content of the page such as shipping address, and review & payment it simply loops the page and adds the “#” after the url, this goes the same as when pressing the continue button at the bottom of the page, most all php files for the template is up to date, other than the content-product.php and varibale.php whom add problems on their own (but the full function of the cart works on this end) has this ever happened to anyone else, if so can anyone please help. thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

the link to the page is “http://autofidelity.com.au/checkout/”

    sincerely yours

    Chester

    Hi there Chester,

This problem is usually caused by a plugin or theme conflict.
The best way to test this is to temporarily disable all non-Woo plugins. If that resolves the issue, then slowly re-enable
features until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

If the step above does not resolve the issue, the next course of action will be to switch back to a default WordPress theme
like Twenty Sixteen, and then once again check to see if the problem is resolved.

Let me know if this works for you!

I tried deactivating them one at a time, but none solved the problem, thank you for the advice though, I still need help with it, thank you for your time and consideration.

The best way to do this is to deactivate all of them, then test. Plugins can conflict in strange ways and the only way to make sure is to start from scratch.

If that doesn’t work, I’d really appreciate it if you’d create a ticket at http://support.woothemes.com and reference this thread. Please include an admin username and password for your site so we can take a look.

    Hi Hannah,

I tried that as well just recently but still to no avail, the pages in woocomerce are working but the checkout is simply looping again and again and adds the “#” on the end of the link. i also checked the templates its all seems to be in order, thank you for your time and consideration.

the problem extends to the “my accounts page’ along with the checkout, it seems to have something to do with the items with the address feilds and the account info (external)

    Thanks Hanna,

Actually I’ve already made a ticket for this concerning getting an extension that I thought could be the solution but I got a response to check here.

    ticket response:

    Hi,

Thank you for contacting WooThemes! I’m happy to help you with this.

This does not sound like a normal issue, as your cart/checkout page should definitely not be looping. I’m not sure One Page Checkout would fix the issue either, and I’d definitely suggest checking your System Status to see if anything is outlined in red, then have your hosting provider help address it.

Unfortunately, we are not able provide support for any of our free products as our support team is only available for paying WooThemes customers (please see our Support Policy for more information).

However, we don’t leave you without an option for support though! If you post this in the WooCommerce Support Forums someone will be able to help you out there (many of our team members also help provide support through that forum).

Otherwise there are plenty of docs covering our free products that you can find here: http://docs.woothemes.com/, including our very helpful Self-Service-Guide to help troubleshoot WooCommerce issues.

If you have purchased a product from us please login from the account that made the purchase and submit a “support” ticket, as this goes directly to our support team. Be sure to include the order number for your purchase there.

If you have purchased a product, but have trouble accessing our Help Desk, please reply here with the order number for your purchase so we can look this up and help further.

Otherwise, I’d suggest you purchase a product or post in the WooCommerce Support Forums to see if someone can help you out there.

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers!

    Yo.

This checkout process is custom – it has multi steps. I don’t know for certain if the error is in the multi-step checkout, or the theme itself, but you are having problems because of these errors:

This is not a core issue, but something to do with the theme or plugins you have installed. If you’ve tried disabling plugins, do the same for the theme then contact the author for a fix.
