• I installed Jetpack. It says I had to have a wordpress.com account. So I did that. Now when I go to my website and click on the dashboard button to go to the dashboard I get

    nternal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

What do I need to do to get back to my completed website pages. WordPress.com now says it is doing my website but there are NO PAGES or posts or anything else and I do NOT want to redo all of it. I’ve been working on this site for 2 months. I just want to go back to my website on the hosting platform that it was on. I was about to announce my new website and go live to the public next week.

  • If you can access your site files via ftp or through your web host file manager, rename the plugins folder; eg, plugins.bak
    /wp-content/plugins

If that fixes the problem, then one of your plugins is incompatible.

Log in to your admin and go to Plugins. All plugins will now be disabled. One at a time, turn on the plugins until you get the error. If you get the error again, go to /wp-content/plugins and rename the plugin that causes the error.

That should fix your site. The next step is to determine why that plugin is causing the error. First, look at your error logs on hosting account. If you don’t understand them, contact your host and explain the problem.

If that doesn’t work, you can contact the plugin developer through the support forum on the plugin page on wordpress.org.

I think it will be fine if you delete that plugin

WordPress.com now says it is doing my website

Did you create a wordpress.com account using one of these?
    https://wordpress.com/invite/a9f93376188458ff76c718fc938bf875
    https://wordpress.com/start/domains-with-premium/survey

    Or here?
    https://wordpress.com/start/delta-discover/user

If it was one of the first two then you probably need to contact wordpress.com support:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/
and ask them to remove your site. All you need on wp.com is an account, not a full site.
