Hey @zcambler, thanks for reporting this. Unfortunately, we’ve been unable to reproduce this issue. Can you get us any relevant error logs or any additional data that might help?
I wrote here the problem your new version of the plugin. This problem is present now.
Problem. There is a reset of all configuration changes to the options made in the old version of the plugin. Changes in the new version of the plugin settings are not saved or stored for a short period of time.
I just updated to the new version and my settings too were changed. For example, I had hide backend turned on with a different login URL. I went to the login URL and was getting a 404 page not found. I went to the iThemes plugin and found that my hide backend featured was turned off (disabled)! To my surprise, now I’m going through all my custom settings. But this is very worrying that the update would change all settings like this totally screwing up the site.
I’m finding that ALL of my sites lose their settings after the latest update. System Tweaks, WordPress Tweaks both have all of the checkboxes unchecked, including the one to allow XMLRPC.
Not cool.

I removed this plug-in. This plug-in is no longer worthy even for free installation.
