    Hi,

I find that all the backslashes are stripped when restoring a revision if the markdown module of Jetpack is enabled.

I can reproduce this bug on a clean WordPress installation with only Jetpack activated.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Enable markdown module in Jetpack.
    2. Create a new page with the content C:\Test, save it (revision 1).
    3. Add something else, save the page.
    4. Restore revision 1, the page content becomes C:Test, backslash is missing.

Thank you in advance for your help!

P.S. I created a GitHub issue (https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/3914), and then found that your issue tracker is mainly used internally, so I thought it would be better to post it here again.

Actually, GitHub is the place where we would track it; it is our public repo!

You’ll get more developer attention on the issue you opened, so I’d recommend following along there for any updates. And thank you for adding it there – that helps us a lot. 🙂

I’ll mark this resolved as it’s being tracked on GitHub already.
