Does it allow direct registration too?

Can a user also register with his name,email etc. beside being able to connect via any of their social profile?

You can use traditional registration form for this.

If one is connected via any social site ,what options does he get them?I mean does it offer to create a user name and pw?

Username is created from social profile data and a link is sent to user after registration, to set password.

You can enable traditional registration from by enabling Anyone can register option at Settings > General page in admin panel. You can enable Social Login at registration form from Advanced Configuration section at Super Socializer > Social Login page in admin panel.
