how to compress autoptimized css and js files

    I combined and minimized multiple css and js from various plugins using AO. Looks like a really great tool!
    Now Google PageSpeed complains that created autoptimize/js/…js and autoptimize/css/…css are big and not compressed. How can I compress them using either AO or any other tool?

    I guess you’re not on Apache as webserver? In that case uncheck the “static files” option on the AO settings-page and the resulting .php-files should enable compression of you.
