Jetpack saves a blog ID and a token (think user name and password) in the database when you first connect that is unique to specific URL – and that could include a development URL. If the URL changed anytime between the time you first connected and now, our system doesn’t pick up those changes unless there’s a disconnect/reconnect process. Can I have you disconnect and reconnect Jetpack to your WordPress.com user account? To disconnect/reconnect Jetpack, go to Jetpack -> Jetpack in your site’s dashboard. Then, click the My Jetpack button and on the next screen, click the “Disconnect site from WordPress.com” button as shown here: http://d.pr/i/1leC0

Click that, then reconnect to WordPress.com when you see the prompt to do so.

In your case, resetting the connection will update that URL on our end and also resolve your wp.me shortlinks going forward. Unfortunately, this won’t resolve any existing wp.me links that have already been shared, but it’ll be fixed for any new posts. Also, upon reconnecting, you may experience your stats being reset or loss of your followers – no worry there, as I can fix that after the fact.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions or if you still have trouble.
