  • Helps to read the docs for the plugin, and tutorials on the Yoast website for best answer, but short answer was ‘yes’ good for SEO.

    For instance, let’s say you have a 2-page article, where you use the WP page break function; you would end up with two pages with identical meta data, which looks like “duplicate content.” So, the page appends a – page 2 to the meta data.

    Similarly if you have an archive of, say, book reviews, and you had 10 pages of 20 results … they would all be duplicate meta data without page 2, page 3, etc. appended to the titles and descriptions, etc.
