New categories while writing

    Is there a way to create a new category while writing a new post and to automatically assign this new post to this newly created category?

    Open the Manage admin page in another browser window (or tab, depending on what your browser offers), go to Categories > Add New Category, and create the category. Then save the post as a draft, upon which the new category should be displayed.
