    Hi there –

    I’m sorry for the trouble you’re having – It looks like the problem is actually at the server level – and it has to do with a missing privilege or misconfigured function.

    For some other users, they were able to resolve it by having the host ensure that all the needed functions and privileges were installed on their server.

    Specifically, have your host check that mysqldump has all needed privileges on the mysql functions, including the “Lock Tables” privilege. This specific privilege has not been installed on other sites having trouble.
