Hello, looking to this you report but: on 1.3.5 and WP 4.5.2 online and my localhost, when i go to preview theme, i SEE the front end as logged out but: if i open any link on preview page on other tab, i’m logged in, if i close the preview admin also, i still result as logged in on admin.
There should be some other plugin that interfere with or it is strange.
By the way, looking this days how to modify something that, will fix i think all at once, many things.
You login via phpBB first or via WP when experience this? (also if this should not do a difference… just thinking to try understand) …
At this point I only have the admin account working, and only log in via WP.
If I turn off every plugin, the site works OK. I can then turn them on one by one, any order, and it’s fine until I get to yours.
I will not be home tonight, but tomorrow AM (my time is EDT) I will test more. If I cannot pin point more, I may be able to give you access to site.

Right now the site is bare bones. All plugins are off, but yours.
If you are in the admin area, and logged in, and simply click on the “view site” feature, (new window or same) it shows you the site, and logs you out.
If you go to Appearance > Customize then simply exit that screen (X in top left corner) it logs you out.
Now, this site is NOT public. In order to visit it, you’ll need to add an entry to your hosts file to point to the FQDN and IP. I’ll give you this info to the e-mail you provide.
But, to make 100% sure this was not a result of that, I also added the plugin to my other site (simply installed it and activated it) and it responds the same way.
I believe this started with the most recent version.

I can’t register! Has i do not have an API key, that seem to be required … mh nice site … a game site?
Please register an axew3 temp account for me, so i can test and look about cookies etc what’s going if still necessary.
Add 6 numbers in the key and 20+ numbers/letters in the verification (its not checking live so it will assume they are valid)
I have a bunch of plugins turned on atm, as I was working on the site this AM. But on or off does not affect the log out issue.
Yes, for my friends who play EvE Online. I am part of their “corp” and they were hoping for a site and forum they could use.

I’ve try to login with my test account but, impossible to login WP. Password do not match. I’ve see there is a plugin (should be) that check for login attempts, that i can’t know what is and what exactly do.
Also, i’ve try to login phpBB, that say me the user do not exist.
So, i presume, at time of my test, wp_w3all is not active.

Nope, its active, and that’s exactly what I get half the time also.
Some times I can log into both phpBB and WP, and sometimes I make a password change and suddenly I can’t log in at all. I wasn’t sure if that was connected to the log out issue or not. I’ll change the plugin, but even with it off, it happens.
I’ll shut all plugins off as I am done working on it today, it will be all yours in a few.
OK, only your plugin is on, you’re free to do as you need.
LOL, and it logged me out the moment I activated it again…

Same as before, so, my stupid question:
have you configured correct path to your forum?
wp_w3all config word about path setting, look green?
p.s and please disable login attempt plugin if it is not the one i’ve suggest you with same settings, as it ever answer that pass isn’t ok… looking wp_w3all side about pass in any case, but since you are the only reporting this at moment, i think/hope that’s not a wp_w3all problem.
