    I hope this comment helps other people with Jetpack issues. I spent a work sorting through multiple Jetpack problems on multiple single sites. I hope this information saves someone time.

    I was having these issue with Jetpack.

    LinkedIn Share Count Issues
    issues with Publicize to LinkedIn, Facebook, and others
    Unable to connect Jetpack
    Error -10520

    I was able to solve all these problems by correcting the IP addresses in my DNS A Record directory.

    The issue was confusing because it seemed to be related to XMLRPC issues. I was having similar problems with another plugin. I read about other possible issues with a conflicting plugin.

    I spent a lot of time working with possible plugin conflicts.

    Once I corrected the A Record IPs, every problem with Jetpack disappeared.
