Getting error that account already exists for new user!

    This behaviour only happens when the register window is in a modal popup.

    Whenever I register a new user I get a note at the top of the page:
    “Error: An account is already registered with your email address. Please login.” with the “Confirm Email: Please Check Your Email. Resend Confirmation Email” message following. I am sure the user that I register does not exist in the database.
