• When I try to make a few minor changes (change URLs of slide links) to an existing slider and click “Save Changes” I get a message of “Authorization Failed!”

Troubleshooting the problem, I searched through all of the plugin’s files, and was unable to find “Authorization failed!” in any of them.

Someone else previously reported this problem but the topic was closed without saying if, or how, the problem was solved:

I’d still be interested in a solution, or perhaps some more helpful troubleshooting steps than “deactivate all the other plugins to see weather it works or not.”

But if anyone else runs into this same problem, I can at least offer a work-around. I was able to go to the Master Sliders list of sliders in the admin area – /wp-admin/admin.php?page=master-slider – and from there, “duplicate” the slider which I am unable to edit. Then I can save it with a new name; make the edits that I need; and “Save Changes” successfully. Then I can put the new slider ID in the place where I insert the slider on my page and replace the old (uneditable) version for the new version.
