    Hello,

I’m getting a PHP notice everytime a cron job runs on my server. Wordfence is installed and a PHP cron runs every so often to keep an inventory database updated.

The PHP warning that I’m getting is….

PHP Notice: Undefined index: SERVER_NAME in /fullpath/web/content/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wfUtils.php on line 641

Any thoughts on how to resolve this??

Thanks much and have a great day.

  • Hello sasserp01,
We have a bug filed for this. Our internal case number is FB938. I can’t tell you exactly when it will be released but I’ll try to get back to you when it’s fixed.

Glad to see it’s not just me – looking forward to the patch.
    Thank you in advance!

    Cheers,
    Dan

    Hello Dan!
A fix is on the way in one of the upcoming releases. However, I just wanted to add note here that if you run wp-cron with wget/curl instead you will not get this error message. Running it with wget/curl is a bit more in line with how WordPress works too so unless you have a particular reason for not doing it that way I would recommend it.
