Hello, thank you for the nice plugin.

I was trying to implement some security in my WordPress based website before I found your plugin, I have some doubt if some of the functions are redundant with what I already have in place:

    GENERAL SETTING tab,
DEBUG SETTINGS … is it about wp-content/debug.php ?

WP Meta Info … I already have remove_action('wp_head', 'wp_generator'); in my functions.php, does your setting add any extra benefit?

and just a note on things I think I took care properly, but the plugin doesn’t detect:
    Basic Firewall Settings
Block access to Debug Log file
    Listing of Directory Content
I already have those set in my apache virtualhost config.

    Filesystem Security,
    File Permissions … I did rename my wp-content folder…
WP File Access … I do not have readme.html, license.txt and wp-config-sample.php on the server.

Hi, it looks like you have taken care of a few security features without enabling those features in the plugin. However the plugin does have other features that will definitely help you. I would concentrate on those and don’t enable the ones you know you have already covered before installing the plugin.

    Kind regards

    thank you for your reply!

so, it is GENERAL SETTING tab, DEBUG SETTINGS … about wp-content/debug.php ?
or somethign specific to the plugin?

and I’ll definitively keep the plugin active for the other features.

I need to confirm this first in regards to /wp-content/debug.php file.

The “Enable Debug” checkbox in the AIOWPS settings is only for enabling the logging made by the AIOWPS plugin. It has nothing to do with the wordpress wp-config file.

nice, thank you; I am Turning that on then.

Are the logs kept in the DB or will those be wrote to wp-content/debug.php?

Logs are output to files in:
