Feature request: Hooks

    HI there,

    You’re plugin seems really great. The one thing is that it looks like it’s hard to modify some of the functionality. How open are you to adding hooks (actions/filters) for modifying things like the shortcode output? Or, on the JavaScript side, firing some events when key actions are taken like selecting a video?

    We would go in and do it ourselves but it would be great to not have to modify the plugin in case there are breaking updates in the future.

    Hi Lizlux,

    We have implemented in v2.3 the ‘ooyalaParameters’ function defined in the global Javascript namespace that allows JavaScript player parameters to be modified.

    I know its not exactly what you are asking for but probably its something worth to check out.

    Thanks for the info. In the mean time we’ve forked the plugin but only made a couple changes, so if hooks are added in the future, we should be able to switch back.
