Posts appear in square boxes

    I am creating posts for the first time but when i create one and go to the category, I see the post coming in as a grey box which has a little + symbol on it when you hover over it. I need to then click over it to open the thing entirely.

    How do get the regular Posts layout like:

    Post header for March
    This is the post.
    Still the post
    Also the post

    Sorry I am on a localhost right now. I wanted to make the basic layout before I buy this to be sure that I can do this.

    Really can’t help if there’s nothing live to look at.

    I suspect this is just how your chosen theme works. So which theme are you using? There will be a specific support forum for it. Was there any documentation with it?

    Does this theme require you to add a Featured Image to the post in order for that grey box to become a picture?

    If you want a list of posts that doesn’t use a featured image, then:

    – if you’re very lucky there’s a theme option for that.

    – or you’ll need to do some coding to customise the theme.

    – or you could choose a different theme that doesn’t do this.
