    Hi,

I’m using WP 1.5 with default (kubrick) theme. Created archives page with archives page template. I had my Permalinks set this way:

    Structure: /archives/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/
    Category base: empty

    site.com/archives/2004/01/01/hello/ – working
    site.com/archives/2004/01/01/ – working
    site.com/archives/2004/01/ – working
    site.com/archives/2004/ – NOT WORKING
    site.com/archives/ – working
    site.com/ – working

How do I get year archives works?

I think this happens due to the fact that there’s no way to currently list archives out in year format. On my page, if I try using the site.com/archives/2004/ all I load up is my site.com/archives page. You could write some code into your archives.php page to have it do something when the year is inputed.

    If I change Permalinks to

    structure: /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

it does shows yearly archives, but i really want to have site.com/archives/2004/ working, just like binarybonsai.com

    anyone?

Hmm… should be something to do with mod_rewrite’s rules, not plugin or anything. I try to dig around and see what I can get. Thanks anyway
