    Hello,

I’ve encountered an odd problem with my most recent WooCommerce installation that I haven’t seen on any others. The URL is http://goldenagemysteries.com

For the last two days, all of my published products have moved to the trash overnight. Since this happens when I’m sound asleep (or trying to be), there’s nothing I’m doing that could be causing it.

I’m the only user with Admin privileges; in fact, I’m the only user, period. There was another user for plugin support, but that account is deleted and the move-to-trash problem wasn’t connected to that. At least, there was no apparent connection.

Have you any idea why this is happening? It’s hard to get an online store going when my entire inventory spontaneously trashes itself on a regular basis. 🙂

    Thank you.

I don’t think there is any code in core which could do this.

Do any plugins you have installed update posts, sync them, or otherwise change content periodically?

    WP to Buffer?

Install WP DEBUG BAR and WP DEBUG BAR CRON and maybe see what jobs run around the time the products disappear.

    Hi mugwumpr,

I can say with confidence it’s the ‘WooZone – WooCommerce Amazon Affiliates plugin’ you have installed.

I and many others have been having the same issue.

AA-Team having currently removed the plugin from envato and i’m awaiting a support response.

    Hope it gets sorted soon,

    regards

    Thank you, Mike & quercusrobi.

I suspected that’s what it was when I stopped to explore the syncing question.

It started after I installed an update from them to solve another problem (cross-sell text showing in Italian instead of English).

Ironically, posting this problem seems to have stopped it from happening. Nothing moved to trash overnight. 😉

I couldn’t figure out what was happening to my store. I didn’t log in the past week and suddenly 800 items in the trash!

The “All products being moved to trash” issue was not a problem from WooZone! On 30 April 2016 the Amazon Product Advertising Api was down. You can find this info on amazon developers forum: https://forums.aws.amazon.com/thread.jspa?threadID=230523&tstart=0

Same thing happened to me on aeropressstore.com, although my products don’t even appear to be in the trash. Any way to get the products back?

Ah well, worth a try… Thanks for the friendly welcome.
