Feature Suggestion (Close Actions)

    Hello,

    I thought I would make a post about a Feature Suggestion in regards to things with Close including other effects.

    Could there be more option for closing?

    Such as:

    – Change Close Button Style and position. e.g. Have an Expand Arrow when popup opens instead of an “X” or the word “Close”, then it contracts when you press it to close the popup or make it only show the arrow until you click it again to expand the popup again, rinse and repeat..

    – If using the X, allow it to be moved to another position. e.g. I have a popup that would be good to have on the top left.

    – Close Animation – Have an animation for close as well. e.g. You can slide a popup open, then when you close it, slides off the same way or however you set it.

    @cpkn – The first isn’t really a popup, as much as it would be an accordian. But you can already style the close button any way you like including position and styling by editing your popup theme Popup Maker -> All Themes -> Edit One.

    As for close animations its possible, but I don’t know that it will be a free feature.

    Hello,

    Well, I completely forgot about the theme editor… Amazeballs!

    If getting the “accordion” and animations, and it was made real good, for $10-20 just to get those features, I would buy, NO WORRIES!

    @cpkn – The animations may be cheaper :). I have long been planning to add a micro transaction system, IE custom popup themes & various animations would be available for 1 time purchase. Or sold in packs etc. You would be able to buy them directly from the dash via your existing popup maker account. A ways off from the full version, but we may be introducing theme packs and such shortly. In fact you may have noticed that v1.4 came with additional themes, they were added via functionality I built to handle importing themes quickly and easily.

    As for the accordian, the only thing I can think of that comes close is a tabbed popups extension we have in the works. Allows placing a fixed position tab on the edge of the screen, click it trigger the popup and hide the tab, close the popup and it reappears.
